my girls a star!!!!

yesterday Bethany had her ballet show and she was fantastic!!!

she looked great and danced great and didnt get frightened or stage fright or anything!!! i was sitting in the front row watching her and almost sobbed my heart out i really couldnt have asked anymore from her especially considering that some of the kids never even made it on stage and belted off before it started bless them!

It was also an awfully long day for her, we had to be there for 12 to rehearse a little and get into costume for the show to start at 2 (although they ran late and it never started until half 2) then the show was 3 hours long including intevals. She danced 2nd on and then came and sat with us in the audience until 2 dances before the end where she went out so she could be in the finale. It finished at half 5 where we had a 45 mins break and then had to be back to get prepared for the next show at 7.30 which again she performed 2nd on and then like all the preschool dancers i took her home as the finale wouldnt be on till half 10 earliest and she would have dropped by then .

She was such a pro especially as she had to have her hair in a bun with no fringe and considering her hair is quite short with a fringe it was easy task and so she was covered in wax and hair spray lol and took it all in her stride which surprised me. even when she had to have a black nose painted on as well (she was minnie mouse)

sorry to go on im just sooooo proud of her!! she did better than i could have ever hoped! I just cant wait now to see the dvd of the performance and get to watch it all again!!!
